The Secret of the Azores

An unexpected adventure of two friends stumbles upon a dangerous secret hidden for centuries by an ancient North Atlantic secret society. Tiago Rodrigues, a geologist from the Azores is carrying out research on the stepped pyramidal structures on the island of Pico, known as “maroiços”. Their similarity to existing volcanic stone buildings throughout the Canary Islands raised doubts as to whether they had actually been built by settlers at the beginning of the 15th century.

Having reached a dead end in his scientific quest he decides to invite his friend archaeologist, researcher and explorer Truman Thorn, specialized in ancient civilizations to help him decipher this enigma. Unexpectedly, they end up getting involved in a spiral of events that forces them to confront a powerful secular Atlantic secret society, whose main mission is to prevent the greatest secret of the Azores, the Mediterranean and all of Macaronesia from being revealed outside of their restricted circle.
